For more than 40 years, Alcaliber has had its own poppy crops. They are managed by the company in their entirety, being fully back integrated, ranging from planting to harvesting, by a large team of professionals and agricultural engineers. Alcaliber has one of the most modern plants in the world producing opiates. This guarantees excellence and optimization of all production processes and, consequently, the highest quality and competitiveness of all our products. We strive for excellence and optimization at each stage of the production process. We ensure high quality and competitive products, producing NRM’s and API’s derivative from the best quality poppy, adapting to our customers needs. We have our own highly specialized agricultural and industrial R&D+Innovation teams, and we also collaborate with universities and other institutions. We work according to the highest quality levels in every production process. The Alcaliber Quality Department is the key to ensuring compliance with the highest standards of quality, with the aim of achieving excellence in the manufacture of all our products. We act according to the 1961 UN Convention on Narcotic Drugs. We collaborate with the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS) to prepare the annual report for the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB).
